Alecs Nastoiu and Rina Gri Attend Eurocine 2026 in Budapest
Between 8-10 May 2026, filmmaker Alecs Nastoiu and actress-producer Rina Gri participated in Eurocine 2026 as invited VIP guests, joining filmmakers, producers, and industry professionals from across Europe for three days dedicated to cinema, technology, and creative exchange.
Hosted at HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center, Eurocine brought together professionals from all areas of the screen industry through exhibitions, symposiums, screenings, workshops, and networking events focused on the future of filmmaking and audiovisual storytelling.
The event explored a wide range of topics, from camera technologies and virtual production to sound design, post-production workflows, ethics in filmmaking, and emerging creative trends. Alongside the technical side of the industry, the symposium and screenings created opportunities for meaningful conversations between filmmakers and creators working in different formats and cinematic languages.

As part of the VIP programme, Alecs Nastoiu and Rina Gri attended the Danube dinner cruise on Saturday evening, where guests had the opportunity to meet and connect in a more relaxed atmosphere while experiencing Budapest from the river at night.

On Sunday, they also joined the cultural programme organized by Eurocine, which included a filming locations tour across Budapest, lunch at a five-star hotel, and a studio visit in the afternoon. The programme offered an inside look into the city’s production environment while encouraging dialogue between international guests and local industry representatives.

For Alegrias.Pictures, the experience was not only an opportunity to discover new technologies and industry perspectives, but also to meet new collaborators, exchange ideas, and reconnect with the wider European filmmaking community.
Events such as Eurocine reflect the importance of creating spaces where filmmakers working across different scales – from independent productions to large studio environments – can share knowledge, experiences, and creative visions.
Alegrias.Pictures would like to thank the Eurocine team for the invitation and hospitality throughout the event, and for creating an inspiring environment dedicated to the future of cinema.
