Seven Days and a Coke Selected for the San Marino International Arts Festival 2026

We are delighted to announce that Seven Days and a Coke has been officially selected for the San Marino International Arts Festival (SMIAF) 2026, where it will be screened as part of the “Percorsi condivisi” programme.

The screening will take place on 2 August 2026 at 16:45 during the festival’s official short film programme.

This year’s edition of SMIAF invited filmmakers from around the world to explore the theme “Happiness and Its Pursuit,” encouraging stories that approach happiness not as a simple concept, but as a complex human experience—whether through desire, transformation, achievement, loss, or the search for meaning.

Since 2008, the San Marino International Arts Festival has brought together emerging artists, filmmakers, and creative professionals to share ideas, emotions, and artistic projects. Organized as part of the broader SMIAF Project, the festival has become an important international platform connecting local and international talent through cinema, visual arts, music, theatre, and performance. Today, SMIAF is part of several European cultural networks and continues to promote new artistic voices from across the world.

The official screenings will take place on 1–2 August 2026 at the Antico Monastero Santa Chiara, home of the University of the Republic of San Marino. Selected films will be presented to a live audience, with attending filmmakers invited to introduce their work and participate in conversations with festival audiences.

We are grateful to the festival selection committee for including Seven Days and a Coke in this year’s programme and look forward to sharing the film with audiences in San Marino.

We would like to congratulate all the selected filmmakers and wish everyone a wonderful festival.
