Shuttle Bus Selected for Comicron 2026

We are happy to announce that Shuttle Bus, written and directed by Alecs Nastoiu and developed within Alegrias.Lab, has been selected for screening at the 12th edition of Comicron International Comedy Short Film Festival in Pontelandolfo, Italy.

Founded in 2013 from an idea by acclaimed Italian filmmaker Ugo Gregoretti, Comicron is dedicated exclusively to comedy short films, celebrating emerging talent and original approaches to comedy.

The festival takes place in the historic town of Pontelandolfo in Southern Italy, where selected films are presented to a live audience through outdoor screenings beneath the town’s medieval tower.

Shuttle Bus is a minimalist observational short film about how systems emerge through human behavior, as a group of strangers wait for a shuttle bus that may or may not exist.

We’re delighted to see the film continue its festival journey and especially happy to see its absurd and observational humor finding an audience at a festival dedicated to comedy.
