Applications for Actors Are Now Open at Alegrias.Lab

Applications for actors are now officially open for Alegrias.Lab, a long-term creative community where actors collaborate on feature films, web series, interactive media, and original storytelling projects.

Rather than waiting between castings and productions, Alegrias.Lab is designed to create an environment where actors don’t just audition for projects – they become part of them on a regular basis.

The program begins on September 7, 2026, bringing together actors and filmmakers who want to create new work through continuous collaboration. Throughout the year, members will have opportunities to participate in original productions developed by Alegrias.Pictures, while also contributing to independent projects created by fellow members of the community.

Whether you’re an experienced professional, a recent drama school graduate, or someone taking the first steps into screen acting, the goal is the same: to keep creating, keep collaborating, and keep building your acting credits through ongoing productions.

Projects developed within Alegrias.Lab include feature films, web series, interactive media experiences, and experimental storytelling formats. Alongside productions, members participate in regular online meetings, feedback sessions, creative discussions, and collaborative development throughout the year.

Alegrias.Lab is built around a simple idea: independent creators shouldn’t have to wait years between opportunities to make meaningful work. By creating an ecosystem where projects continuously generate new projects, we aim to help actors build experience, collaborate internationally, and become part of an active creative network.

Applications are now open, and membership places are limited.

If you’re looking for more than a single role – if you’re looking for a place to grow, collaborate, and create over the long term – we’d love to hear from you.

Applications close on August 31, 2026.

The program begins on September 7, 2026.
