Having The Secret of Pin-Up Island screened there felt truly meaningful – it perfectly fit the theme of the event: the woman as the author of her own life.
Just like Alesia, the main character, we are all the writers of our own stories. Only we have the choice to shape them, to fill them with the symbols and metaphors we want.
