Alegrias.Pictures is a boutique film company created by actress-producer Rina Gri and writer-director Alecs Nastoiu.
We create fiction and documentary films, experimental pieces, and short-form stories driven by unique ideas, honest emotion, and a deep love for the craft.
At Alegrias.Pictures, we love exploring new ways of telling stories. Every project is a chance to experiment – with structure, with visual language, with the small details that give a film its own voice. We’re drawn to themes that matter today: mental health, identity, diversity, and digital alienation.

Alegrias.Lab is a filmmaking laboratory where contemporary stories are developed and brought to the screen through creative exploration, collaboration, and accessible filmmaking tools.
Each project developed within Alegrias.Lab reflects a balance between minimal production and conceptual precision.
Working across film, vertical formats, and interactive media, Alegrias.Lab creates projects using what is immediately available – from photo cameras and action cameras to mobile phones – embracing a flexible, independent approach to production. This method allows stories to remain close to reality, while exploring new visual languages shaped by the tools themselves.
The Lab focuses on modern narratives grounded in the present, often extending them into a near future shaped by technology, perception, and evolving human behavior. Its projects explore themes of digital alienation, identity and privacy, psychological behavior, and the invisible systems that shape how people observe, interact, and make decisions.
Collaboration is central to the Lab’s process. Alegrias.Lab works with actors, filmmakers, and creators from diverse cultural backgrounds, integrating different perspectives into the development of each project. Diversity is not only reflected in casting but embedded in the narrative fabric of the work.
